Victoria Lomasko is back in the Koepel during the “Stripdagen Haarlem” with a new workshop. Explore how symbols help express ideas we cannot easily draw. Revolution, love, equality, cruelty, courage, war, humanity, solidarity, nature, thought… Things we can’t see but feel.

They appear in poetry, children’s fairy tales and political posters. During the workshop, participants will explore artistic tools such as hyperbole, personification, oxymoron, and metaphor.
